Huatao Food establishes a cooperative relationship with Jiangnan University

On July 12, 2020, Li Tao, general manager of Anqiu Huatao Food Co., Ltd., accompanied the Anqiu Municipal Inspection Team to Jiangnan University. The Anqiu Municipal Inspection Team was led by Liu Ziqing, member of the Standing Committee of the Anqiu Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Municipal Political and Legal Committee, accompanied by Leng Wenqing, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, and Xie Qianbiao, deputy mayor, with more than ten people in total.

Zhang Guangsheng, assistant to the president of Jiangnan University; Liu Yuanfa, dean of the School of Food Science and Technology; Fu Lili, party secretary of the School of Food Science and Technology; Liu Xiaohong, deputy director of the president's office; and others attended the symposium. The meeting was chaired by Cheng Li, assistant to the dean of the School of Food Science and Technology at Jiangnan University.

At the signing and symposium, Assistant to the President Zhang Guangsheng first extended a warm welcome on behalf of the university to the Anqiu Municipal Inspection Team and gave a comprehensive introduction to the university from three aspects: history, current development, and future direction.

Subsequently, Secretary Liu Ziqing gave a speech, pointing out that Anqiu City is one of the main production bases of agricultural products in Shandong Province, with abundant and high-quality agricultural product resources. However, it lacks deep processing of food products, resulting in low added value. This visit to the School of Food Science and Technology at Jiangnan University aims to bring advanced concepts and technologies back to Anqiu to support the high-quality development of Anqiu's socio-economic development. Secretary Liu sincerely hopes that Jiangnan University will give full play to its talent and scientific research advantages, and conduct comprehensive and in-depth cooperation with Huatao Food Company in product technology research and development, technology transfer, and talent training and exchange, to promote the construction of the research and development center to a high standard, allowing more innovative achievements to take root and bear fruit in Anqiu. He hopes that Huatao Food Company will firmly grasp this major opportunity for cooperation, make full use of the research and development center as an important carrier, accelerate technological innovation, product upgrading, and management improvement, and promote higher-quality development of the enterprise. He stated that Anqiu City will provide the best policies and the best environment, and the most convenient services for the establishment of the research and development center, promoting higher-level cooperation between the two parties and promoting the upgrading of the food industry.

Dean Liu Yuanfa then spoke, introducing the college's successful cooperation experience with local governments and enterprises, and expressing the hope that this meeting would be a solid step for the college and Anqiu's food enterprises to launch comprehensive and in-depth cooperation, laying a solid foundation for mutual trust, assistance, and mutual benefit in the future.

After detailed communication, both parties reached an agreement on the establishment of a joint research and development center. Under the witness of the leaders of Anqiu City and Jiangnan University, Anqiu Huatao Food Co., Ltd. and Jiangnan University held a signing ceremony for the joint construction of a joint research center.

The official signing of the research and development center marks a new stage in the cooperation between the two parties. Both parties will work together to leverage their respective advantages, achieve more fruitful results in the field of starch-based foods, and achieve complementary advantages, resource sharing, and mutual benefit and win-win results.
