On December 25, 2020, under a clear sky, the grand opening ceremony of the Huatao Food-Jiangnan University Starch Food Joint Laboratory was held at Anqiu Huatao Food Co., Ltd. Liu Yuanfa, Dean of the School of Food Science and Technology, Jiangnan University; Cheng Li, Vice Dean of the School of Food Science and Technology, Jiangnan University; Wang Xiaoli, Deputy Mayor of Anqiu City; and leaders from departments such as Xin'an Street, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Science and Technology Bureau attended the opening ceremony.
